Keeps
In order to honour the elegant terroir of Saint-Saphorin, we are offering a limited edition of two hundred numbered cases containing ten vintages of Réserve Blanche du Château de Glérolles (2019 to 2010).
Indeed, if the terroir of Saint-Saphorin is known for its alkaline soil and light earth, the specificity of the vines around the château is a presence of limestone above the norms usually recorded for this production site. Thus, the soil gives the Réserve Blanche a minerality that is conducive to ageing, like terroirs such as Yvorne or Dézaley.
Notes
This case will delight the palates of lovers of fine and delicate Chasselas. A selection that will first delight with its pronounced aromatic bouquet before offering freshness, fatness, unctuousness and a lengthy finish with beautiful expressions of minerality, the signature of this Grand Cru. A booklet describing the characteristics of each vintage will allow you to appreciate the different specificities and evolutions during the tasting.
A journey down memory lane over the last decade.
